Samobor - Veliki Dol - Japetić - Oštrc - Samobor

This 35 kilometres long trail with and ascent of 1500 metres is a real challenge for trail runners.

The start of this route is near the former military barracks of Taborec, where the Mirnovečka road leads you into the Tin Ujević Street and then by the Saint Ana Street to the Anindol forest. The well-known direction leads you next to the Saint Ana’s Chapel, the Old Town and the Saint Michael Chapel. Taking the Čudomerščak Street, following mountaineering designations, you get to the turning towards Črnec, and then right, towards the Veliki Dol peak. From there, the trail leads to Šoićeva kuća and Mali Lipovac, and then upwards over the meadows to the pyramid on the Japetić peak and to the mountain hut Žitnica nearby. The trail then leads to Velika vrata and after crossing the road, over Stražnik, it follows the designations to Oštrc. From the peak of Oštrc the Hoffman’s path leads you back again to Veliki Dol, then towards Gregurić’s hill to Samobor.
