Saint Trinity’s Chapel
Isolated chapel built in the Baroque style.
Among vineyards, on an elevated position in Nerze near Braslovje lays this isolated chapel built in the Baroque style. It was first mentioned in 1683 as a small wooden chapel only to become a single-nave chapel with rectangular layout, polygonal sanctuary and a bell tower north of the shrine. It is believed that the majority of works had been made until 1772 while the vestry and the bell tower were added in 1813. The main altar is made of wood, adorned with the statues of the Holy Trinity and four evangelists and it is believed they date from the Baroque era. It is worth mentioning that there is a small organ, but in a rather bad condition.
