Monument to a soldier

The people of Samobor participated in the Second World War too, mostly on the side of antifascism. In the woods around Samobor and on the fronts of the former state, the people sacrificed their lives for various ideas, and in the post-war period, while rebuilding their homes and lives there was time to make a monument of an unknown soldier placed on the Matica hrvatska Square.
