Grand Prix Croatia

Karate is a sport with most medals and trophies in Croatia, and one of the clubs with most prizes is Samobor Karate Club, so it makes sense to hold a karate competition in Samobor. Grand Prix Croatia is held every year at the beginning of January and it is one of the best karate tournaments in Central Europe.

Every year, the organizers from the Samobor Karate Club raise the bar of expectations, so the tournament has turned into a three-day gathering of 2000 of the best athletes of different ages from around 30 countries. They include a significant number of world and European champions making the tournament attractive enough to appeal to sponsors and therefore become the event with the most attractive prizes for the best competitors.

Today, when karate is an Olympic sport, the importance of this tournament is even higher.
