Educational trail: Where the fruit ripe

Recently renovated trail that offers a pleasant walk in the area of Vivodina.

As part of the project Enjoyheritage, this educational trail in the Žumberak – Samobor Hills Nature Park has recently been renovated and offers a pleasant walk in the area of Vivodina.

The trail is located on the mild slopes facing south where people have been growing fruit for a long time and where is a proof that the orchard is not only the place for people to grow their food, but also a home to many small animals.

Unfortunately, as the countryside is slowly dying, so are the orchards, vineyards, grassland and all their inhabitants. That is why these educational trail are even more valuable because besides breath-taking views of forests, vineyards, orchards and grasslands, especially from the village of Lović, speak about the manner of life which might disappear with this or the future generation.
